TORONTO (CCN) — Citing Matthew 4:19-20, the Canadian pro-life movement has chosen  “Follow Me” for its theme for the 2026 National March for Life, May 14.

Campaign Life Coalition announced the theme for the annual march Feb. 5, saying these are words that changed history.

“And He said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.’ Immediately they left their nets and followed Him,” reads the Scripture passage.

In its announcement, Campaign Life said “the pro-life movement is not just trying to save lives but souls too.” So Follow Me invites “every new mom and dad to undertake a journey from womb to tomb,” as every child bears the image of Jesus and “becomes a signpost pointing us back to the Source of Life.”

This year’s March for Life will take place May 14 on Parliament Hill and at various provincial legislatures throughout Canada.
